This is one of a few shows at the end of ’81 where Lost Sailor > St. of Circumstance end the first set.
Most of the time they were followed by Deal, giving us the ever popular L>S>D initialism
(coincidence or message, you be the judge), but in these few instances, the follow was “we’re gonna
take a short break…”

Better than 3 stars. Nice versions of most songs. Sailor/Saint is very nice. Spanish jam is sweet.
Wharf Rat is kind. I saw this show but have no memory of it except seeing Kreutzman arriving in his
limo with some hot blond chick driving him and he was laughing and seemed in good spirits.
REVIEW: Magic Second Set
I have a beautiful reel-to-reel of this show, the last show I went to before meeting my wife. The first
set was nothing special until “Saint of Circumstance” which is absolutely perfect, as is every note of
the second set. I sat behind the stage looking down all night and just had a blast!
REVIEW: my first show
This was a surreal experience. I was feeling pretty strange before I ever went in. The shows I had
been to before this one were punk shows and I was struck by the difference in the vibe. Listening
back I am lucky to have seen such a wonderful show right out of the blocks. The show is solid and
well played. I remember thinking that the truckin’ seemed awfully long and thought the spainish jam
was the coolest riff ever. Check it out.

yea—bus came by. my first show—all a complete blur of reefer smoke–natch! love the spanish jam
here also although at the time i had no conception what a spanish jam was. joined the circus and ran
away from home. you could do that then.

REVIEW: Not as good as stabler
I actually talked with garcia after this show on his way to his limo friendly enough i might add.He
seemed to like the lehigh show 2 nights prior,he jumped in his car told me to take it easy and the
driver beeped his horn the garage door opened and jerry was gone.The show as i said was good but it
was 1 burnt weekend lehigh>buffalo>capital centre all in all lehigh was the tightest than buffalo then
cap centre.
